Keeping in mind that I have owned several high-end amplifiers such as Krell KSA-150, Audion Silver Night 300B, NAD Master M3, Marantz PM-11S1 and so on, the Rotel RA-06 SE would seem to be a small amplifier for my choice. The Rotel RA-06 SE might not look so scary on the outside, but under the hood it hides a muscle machine. Specified by Rotel to 70W at 8ohm but measured to 100W at 8ohm and 160W at 4ohm. (See attached audiograph powercube.) The overall build quality is excellent with a large 350W toroid transformer, 20.000uF capacitors and 4 pairs of output transistors which are unusual for a β70-wattβ integrated in this price range.
The sound characteristics are mostly natural and transparent but perhaps slightly happy on the bass. It is obvious that this amplifier is underspecified because it has an amazing drive and headroom, delivering enough power to suit any normal size speakers. I run the Rotel with a Pair of B&W DM685 (From the same company) which is a perfect match, but I am sure it can drive much larger speakers without any problem. My overall impression of the RA-06 SE is very good andΒ I think you get a lot of amplifier for your money.

Hello,
I am on the market to buy Rotel RA-10 for my Dali Zenstor 1’s. Do you have any experience with RA-10? Does Rotel make their amps with IC’s or completely discrete electronics?
Hi my name is Ulises o i like know wat is de price of rotel rb 06 ? Slds
Hi, I recently scored a win off of eBay buying a nice RB-O6 SE for AUD $400.00.
The Amp was almost in brand new condition internally, tbh it looks as if it has never been used. I bought this to use as a dedicated Vinyl amp and hooked up some new Polk Audio S20’s to it.
In brief this is a beasty hi-fi amp with more than enough power to fill a std sized media room with a very natural sound stage across the spectrum when volume was wound to 6 ( also very loud and crystal clear ). The Phono stage on the SE is remarkable and I can’t emphasize this enough. The difference in having the additional SE letters means the phono stage is a world apart from its predecessor. The SE and the S20’s are a fantastic pairing delivering nice warm bass that doesn’t sound forced and cloudy.
I’d rate my purchase 4/5 stars as it came without remote ( which I found quite easily online )
